That's right, I won't back down from this challenge. Sheogorath, you may be strong, you may be by far the most clever, and you might win the war, but this battle is mine! I shall beat you here, today, and I can't say that I care at all what happens tomorrow. I would doubt myself, question if I've merely been tricked by you, question if you'd already claimed victory and have merely deceived me to make it complete. Except I can see the anger smoldering within your eyes. I have bested you, that truth can't be denied, not even by your snakelike tongue.

No doubt you will have your revenge, and I will pay dearly for this victory. No doubt you will try to make me regret every second of joy I've squeezed out of this triumph. But you will fail in that regard. I don't fear you, and there is nothing you can do to change what I've done.

In truth Sheogorath, I could care less. I don't hate you, I had no qualm with you, and I respect many of the things you've done. However, nobody, that's right, nobody gets between me and my goals. Not anymore. They're the only things that I can afford to care about, they're the only things that I know are real.
