Red Rock Sage

I wanted to look at things differently with this one.
I'm not going to make a habit of rotating things after the fact as opposed to before the render, but in this particular case I thought it was and interesting effect. I also found the geometry more meaningful after the rotation.
Anyway, yes, I have been to Red Rocks Colorado. Yes, that was the inspiration for this.
Part of the inspiration is the mountainous terrain, and just the fantastic feeling of being free in such a beautiful place. The other part is the amphitheater, which I'm undecided on. Part of me thinks it is a blight upon a beautiful natural place. Other parts of me think that the gathering of so many people for a celebration of music (the most ethereal of the arts) is profound and wonderful. I tried to capture the good in this, as difficult as it is to portray music in a visual form.
Is this image strange? Definitely.
Is it good? Who knows.
